Product Description
Woodworkers, machinists, carpenters and draftsmen often need a good straightedge for layout and to check the flatness of wide surfaces if they have been hand or machine flattened. This Steel Straightedge is unexcelled for drawing or scribing straight lines and checking surfaces for straightness. Made of hardened steel with a Satin Chrome finish, it is precision ground and lapped to ensure that the edges are straight and parallel. All edges have true right angles. One edge of the straightedge is beveled with precision engraved, US Standard graduations in 1/64" increments. Packaged in a sturdy, protective plastic sleeve.
