Review

Elegant from top to bottom, Dale Tiffany's McKellar table lamp applies traditional themes to delicate, feminine proportions. The 17-inch round shade features a structured backdrop of cream glass and even copper bands accented by a stylized organic floral pattern bursting forth in pearly pink, orange, and pale green. Below, the poly-resin body is highly sculptural with a three-pronged design adorned with scrolls, feathery wings, and a deep ruby center bauble. Finished in Antique Golden Sand and perched on a fluted, studded six-sided base, the effect is regal and luxuriously refined. The renowned manufacturer of fine art glass lighting and home décor, Dale Tiffany uses the highest quality hand-rolled art glass, hand leading, and the "copper foil" technique, a glass assembly method originally developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany more than 100 years ago. Each piece is handcrafted, so no two are exactly alike. This lamp measures a grand 29-1/2 inches high and takes two 60-watt light bulbs. Two metal pull chains turn the lights on and off. --Kara Karll
