With a quick release clamp for fast and safe setups, this cutoff stop acts as a stand off to keep material away from the fence when using a miter gauge. This fence adds a 1-inch thickness to the fence, which can be easily compensated by adding an-inch to the fence index. This cutoff stop also includes a smooth sliding surface.
