Each Drill Out is a drill bit and extractor in one and is specially designed to drill into the rough surfaces caused when bolts break. To use, simply insert one of the four Drill Out sizes (1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/2 inch) into a reversible power drill, place the tip directly over the center of the broken bolt, and then follow the included instructions for extracting the bolt or screw. The Winslow self-centering tip keeps the bit tip from walking or wandering. The Drill Out kit also offers a unique left-hand cutting edge, which helps loosen and sometimes even turn the bolt out during drilling.
